Age: 2 Grade: Nursery

Francesca, who is twins with Freddie, lives with Grandma and Grandad as Mom passed away. By coming to school, Freddie gets enough food that Grandma and Grandad struggled to afford!

Age: 2 Grade: Nursery

his grandma cares for him and some older children. She had a business that was doing fairly well on the road side. As Milan grew it became very unsafe for him to be there. So she less and less frequently attended to her business to keep Milan safe. She was referred to us by someone in the community. As a women caring for a child without parents and with a dilemma that we had the perfect solution for.

Age: 1 Grade: Nursery

Callum is another child in our HOPE Fund project. We started supporting him with milk as his mother due to stress and lack of food wasn't producing enough milk. Callum coming to school means his mum can study too!

Farina is 4 and lives with a lady in the local community that cares for her because her biological mum is developmentally delayed and has numerous disabilities that prevent her from being Farinas primary caregiver. Sponsoring farinas education ensures she gets a chance to grow up in a family and access a good eduction.

Harry is a twin who was found abandoned in a building. His mother was reported as an alcoholic. She had left the babies for days.

Owen's mum is a teenager that grew up in an orphanage. By coming to school his mum gets to go back to school too!

Abdul's mum is exposed to HIV/AIDS and she just started using ARV medicine this year which means her health isn't suitable for breastfeeding. Abdul lives with his father.

Grace's Mother died during delivery so Grace's Aunt came to Pamoja Leo to access milk from our Baby project. Grace now attends our school which means her Aunt can work and care for other orphaned children.

Hafsa's mum passed away and so now lives with her grandmother, with poor economic condition.

Lucky was very unwell when we met him. He lives with many medical conditions. His Mum is single and also unwell. Coming to school means Mum can work and Lucky can access medical care.

Age: 4 Grade: Nursery

Max's Mum became pregnant as a young teenager so had to drop out of school and was unable to provide for Max. We supported her to attend tailoring school. With Max now in school, Mum can start her business and provide for her son.

After birth, Masha's mother abandoned Masha with her Aunt, who is struggling with mental health issues. By attending school, Masha has access to food and we can monitor her health and support her.

Peter's Mother passed away and so he lives with his elderly Grandma and cousin. peter's Grandma can work on growing food in the small farmland she has whilst Peter is safely in school.

Rayna's Mum suffers from mental health and so Rayna lives with her Grandma. School is a safe haven for Rayna and a place where she can heal, eat and learn with friends. It allows Grandma to also care for her.

Simon's Mum died in childbirth so his Aunt cares for him. Simon first started with milk in our baby project. We supported his Aunt to start a small, successful business. Simon comes to school so his Aunt can focus on growing her business and earning enough moneyto care for Simon.

Tarik was abandoned by his mother and father, and So now lives with his Grandmother.

Zarah's Mother died after birth so lives with her Great Aunt who has started a successful tailoring business but unable to keep Zarah safe at home whilst working. Coming to the center ensures Zarah is safe, can be with other children, learn and her new Mama can rock her new business.

Age:2 Grade: Nursery

Rachel started coming to get milk after her Mother was unable to feed her due to medication. Her mother has since recovered well and together with Grandma, they care for Rachel. Coming to school means Mum and Grandma can run a small shop at home. We are also able to support Rachel with her developmental delays, imcluding her speech.

Age: 2 Grade: Nursery.

Matilda's mother was abused and is part of our hope fund project. Coming to school means Matilda's Mum can attend school too!

Harriet was very unwell and needed a lot of support with her health. Her Mum was in a domestic violence situation and coming to school helps Harriet's Mum work, so she can rely on herself for income.
